Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, coconut, almost like a Bounty Bar. Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Pours lightly hazy brown with a tight, off-white cream head. Some oily cocoa on the nose. Light sweet flavor with definite oily coconut, some dusty cocoa. Light bodied with average, smooth carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, some more coconut, rich chocolate. Nice, but not super exciting.

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. Pours deep brown with a massive tan head. The nose is shredded toasty coconut, plenty of sugar and vanilla. The taste is more toasty coconut, some chocolate and light woody notes. Nice light body, very drinkable. Overall, this beer’s simple, but it hits the mark. Nice, well done!

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF tasting 2012. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Coconut ice and vanilla aroma. Coffee, coconut and chocolate bounty bar (milk although the plain version is the absolute nuts!) tastiness. Yum!

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012. A ruddy brown beer with a creamy & lasting one finger beige head once poured. Toasty, sweet coconut & dryish grainy malts on the aroma. Sweet coconut on the tongue with choccy notes a la Bounty and a dryish finishing note. Light to medium body, softish mouthfeel with a short & soft finish.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours deep ruby-brown, with a thick beige head. The nose is ripe coconut, toast and roasted malt. The taste is roasted malt, fresh coconut, chocolate, filter coffee, wood and earth, with a dry finish. Medium body and low-fine carbonation. Not bad.
