ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Hazy amber beer. Little white head. Light dry palate, semi dry. Strawberries and cream! A little bit of hop bitterness and dry minerals. Dry finish. Not bad!

Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Pours cloudy, light orange-pink with a very fine, white foam head. Dry strawberry nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with doughy malts, pretty nice strawberry character. Light bodied with average carbonation. Some doughy malts to finish a la golden ale, but with accompanying strawberry and a bit of shortbread. Nicely done. Good balance.

Unclear matt medium amber - red orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, green - floral, vegetables. Flavour is moderate tol ight heavy sweet with a average duration, strawberry, light earthy. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20120804]

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig, 2012. Cloudy rosé colour. Strawberry yoghurt nose. Syrupy strawberry flavour. Dry fruit finish.

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. The pour’s deep amber red with a medium head. The nose is summery peas and light strawberry fruit. The taste is light strawberry sweetness, sweet grain and honey. Light body, simple, clean and tasty. Not bad!

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and mildly berryish. Flavour is fruity, floral, mild berries as well as some slight yeastyness.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012. Poured an unclear amber with a fine & fading white head. Quite simple and to the point like a strawberry fromage frais on the nose. More akin to strawberries & cream flavour-wise with a more evident tanginess on the back end. Some grain hiding beneath. Light to medium body, lightly spritzy carbonaion with a lingering-ish tanginess.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours hazy orange-amber, with a minimal white head. The nose is fresh strawberry, yoghurt and pink Angel Delight. The taste is strawberry, light fruity tartness, raspberry, yoghurt, fresh fruit and Angel Delight. Light-medium body and low, lightly prickly carbonation. Smooth and easy drinking. Thankfully it’s not sickly sweet. A bit one dimensional, but not actually that bad.
