50cl bottle. Pours hazy dark golden colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of clove, mild banana and yeast, taste is the same, okay!

bottle from Edeka Marktredwitz. Cloudy golden yellow, tall white head. Yeasty and wheaty from the start, fruity but not in an overpowering way. Smooth palate.

Great, almost perfect Weizen. Very nice color, Aroma and Taste. This brewry just nails it with nearly everything they touch!

Bottle@Home. Banana and citrus aroma. Cloudy, yellow, white head, good lace. Sweetish, light bitter, light malty, banana. Bit thin. Flavourful, refreshing but not very exciting.

Test vom 19.1.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,9,8,11,9 - 8,90

It’s unclear, light-golden with a huge, creamy, white head, and the aroma has notes of spicy yeast, banana and wheat. The sweet flavour has notes of spicy yeast, banana, wheat, and the finish is sweet and slightly spicy – it’s well-balanced and charming.

Bottle looks very simple, almost like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, yeasty fruity like apricot. Some spicy notes. Finish more sourish, a bit moldy. Dry aftertaste. Not the best hefeweizen I had.

The color and the Etiekett are not the strongest points of this beer, quite the opposite. Slightly sour taste, the aftertaste is rather weak. Average wheat

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2009 draft at the brewery. cloudy pale yellow body, effervescent and bubbly with a rocky white head. beautiful sulphurous clove, banana and creamed orange nose. flavor more along the lines of stale bread, cream and browned bananas. creamy approach, more zesty and prickly middle and finish. mild flavor overall, a little sweat/funk at times, a little excess carbonation, perhaps just too quiet.
