Cask at the Queen Adelaide, Nottingham. A deep golden colour, this bitter is grassy and peppery with a lingering bitterness but little sweetness. It is medium bodied.

Cask conditioned at Ye Olde Dolphin, Derby. Gold with white head. Clean, sharp hoppy flavours to the fore, a touch perfumed and sharp, but nevertheless very drinkable. Lasting bitterness on the palate. Liked it.

Clear medium orange amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, sweet malt, toffee, light moderate hoppy, grass, fruity, citrus - orange notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100117]
