Bottled, 500ml, from Quercus Brewery Bottleshop, Devon. Greenish gold with white head. I love the freshly jiffed sink analogy below by weaselkenievil, brilliant and correct, clean and fresh aroma with lemon. Sharp hoppy beer on the palate, thinnish but adequate body with a malty mash background, refreshing foretaste. A really decent bottled light beer.

Golden with thin white head. Citrus, grass, and biscuit aroma notes. Flavors match aroma; balanced, with light bitter finish.

Cask at The Devonshire Cat, Sheffield, ’The Peoples Republic of South Yorkshire’ on the Valley of Beer Day 16-08-08 Pours light gold with tiny white bubbles on a film head. Some honey and citrus combine to produce a nice if ultimately safe beer.

Kind gift from our Mes in bottle form. The colour of an ill Homer. Could do with more alcohol in my humble opinion, though I often say that. Smells like a freshly jiffed sink. Some bitterness but mild and drinkable at the same time.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Marble Arch Inn.
Pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is full of lemon and sherberty hops with some nice dusty notes. The flavour is a standard but enjoyable drop of English golden. Very fruity, good bitterness with a little too much lemon cream. Has an over sparklered Mc’Sporks feel about it. Dry bitter finish. Ok but not amazing.
