2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 BlackHaddock (2350) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2012
16th June 2012: hand pulled pint in the Wetherspoons in Beeston.
Light amber body with a good white head that produced some heavy lacing on the glass.
Sadly the beer didn’t ‘do it for me’. Hoppy but lacked depth of smell and flavour: another run-of-the–mill light golden citrusy brew the UK is littered with at the moment.

Very standard bitter, but it does have a kick in its aftertaste and some hops in its aroma.

Lovely citrussy hop aroma. Good full malty body - light malts, but a ton of sharp hops. Great balance. Nice bitter.
