Bottle at James’s 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a clear brown body with off white lacing. Aroma is light malt, and nothing much more. Mouthfeel is medium to light with faint roasty notes, sweet fruity malts and a dirty graininess in the finish.

Bottle. Czech lager whale shared at 5K/10K/4K tasting. Pours reddish black/brown with off white head. Nose and taste of light chocolate, roasted barley/grain, lager yeast and hint of dark roast. Medium bodied.

Bottle at James’s 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a clear brown with a thin white head. Big grainy roast. Grain, toast and roast, hints of chocolate. Easy drinking, cocoa and a bit of grain.

Bottle from Vinspecialisten, Kolding Storcenter. Clear dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty and caramel. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 110413

Not a big fan of this one. Overly sweet, not enough hop balance. Caramel, toffee, and even some brown sugar. The aroma is malty sweet as well.

Bottle at New York. Dark brown color with doughy aroma, dark beige small foamy head, fizzy, slightly bitter coffee taste, medium finish. Not very spectacular.

Slightly sour smell and taste of roasted malt, caramel and hops. The taste has an unpleasant metallic and bitter tone. Not a particularly good beer!

Quickly dissipating head over light brown body with a reddish tint. Pleasant roasted malt smell. Roasted malts also has a grassy, bitter hops taste. Like roasted malts over a pilsner with a few sweet notes in the mix. I liked it very much.

On tap at Bohemia Söröző, Budapest. Clear reddish brown color with creamy beige head. Smooth creamy, roasted malty and caramel aroma. Medium sweet taste. Light body with creamy texture and average carbonation. Sweet malty finish. It’s a delicious, very drinkable brown lager.
