3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 joohefner (380) - Isla Vista, California, USA - MAY 4, 2008
Has a clear cola color with a small light brown head. Roasted caramel aroma with a light nuttiness. Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel. Rich caramel flavors, roasted graininess and a light bitterness. Sweet, slightly cloying, finish. Not great but not bad either.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Rusty (1509) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - APR 16, 2008
Pours a see thru brown with a little tan head. Aroma of caramel, malt, and a touch of hops. Flavor of aramel, roasted barley, hops, water and not much else. Pretty easy drinking but a mediocre beer at best.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Delirium (563) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 7, 2008
UPDATED: APR 9, 2008 Bottle, as BrouCzech Dark. Pours dark brown with ruby highlights, and a frothy tan head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, some light fruit, and a hint of deadish hops. Flavor is sweet caramel, a little roast, and a small bit of nondescript hops. Not too exciting, but decent.

12oz bottle. Dark brown with a little red and a beige head. Light grassy aroma with a little cardboard and sweetness. The malt flavors show some caramel and brown sugar, a little bit of roast, but not at all bitter. Light hops just tame the bitterness, but don’t stick out. Sweet, but not annoying. Light body with smooth carbonation. For some reason, Czech dunkels always go down well with me. Not the greatest, but still pleasant and drinkable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 FatPhil (5970) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 14, 2008
500ml bottle (alko)
Very dark red, thin head. Spicy hoppy aroma, crisp and peppery, and a touch of ginger. Quite lively in the mouth. Very rich roasted malt, and tangy hops make their presence felt even before swallowing. Some sweetness, but it’s not sickly. The noble hops leave a very long finish. Very typical nova paka taste, but they do do very tasty dark lagers.

Pour is a dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma is hard to find with some roasted malts if you use your imagination. Flavor is not much better. Some dry malts and a ever so slight touch of smoke. A little earthyness on the swallow but nothing to make this a better beer. Quite boring.
