themightyomega (64), USA Aug 2, 2008 Large bottle, from the former Boss: Pours wonderful golden brown with thin creamy head and pretty lacing. Lots of hops aroma, nicely balanced flavors of malt up front with a gentle crisp hops finish. Nice to unwind with after a nasty hot summer day. phishpond417 (1360), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 29, 2008 Pours a bright golden colour. hops on the nose and strong bitter hops all the way through. slightly grainy at times, and a little watery. kind of dissapointing. drewbeerme (1782), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 6, 2008 bottle. pours hazy chestnut with creamy white head. aroma has a slight floral hop presence and pretty grainy and buttery. flavors are musty, dry, apple, apricot, grain husk, toffee. fizzy mouth feel. not a great example of the style but actually tasty. bb (2069), Martinez, California, USA May 2, 2008 Bottle. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Light malt, light spice aroma. Malty, light fruit, light spice, light hay, grassy flavor. Medium-light body. Easy drinking. Grain lingering with a bit of grass and spice. duffman462 (155), Bellingham, Washington, USA Apr 17, 2008 Clean, crisp, mildly sweet, grassy, a bit soapy. Nothing to write home about.
