Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Pours a copper color with a quickly diminishing white head. Smells very skunky with a taste of grass and grain. Why I keep drinking pilsener’s I will never know?

Jun 29, 2008 Pours a bright golden colour. hops on the nose and strong bitter hops all the way through. slightly grainy at times, and a little watery. kind of dissapointing.

May 6, 2008 bottle. pours hazy chestnut with creamy white head. aroma has a slight floral hop presence and pretty grainy and buttery. flavors are musty, dry, apple, apricot, grain husk, toffee. fizzy mouth feel. not a great example of the style but actually tasty.

May 2, 2008 Bottle. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Light malt, light spice aroma. Malty, light fruit, light spice, light hay, grassy flavor. Medium-light body. Easy drinking. Grain lingering with a bit of grass and spice.

Apr 7, 2008 Pours dark golden with a fully receding white head. Aroma of grassy hops and minerals. Taste is cookie, resinous hops, herbal and sweet toffee. Slightly sticky. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and resinous hoppiness.
