Black body, smooth tan head. Nice rich aroma with malts and sour notes. Taste is not too strong, slightly bitter finish. Mouthfeel is really smooth at first but becomes a bit hollow and watery towards the end. Soft carbonation. Decent.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear dark brown color with large frothy light brown head and good lacing. Aroma of strong roasted malt, coffee, caramel, dark fruits and grassy hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet roasted and caramel malt, follows by refreshing herbal and fruity sourness, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Pleasantly roasted dunkel...

Zarkam (538) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 1, 2014
500ml bottle, dark brown colour, medium rocky mostly lasting beige head, good lacing. Moderately malt aroma of toast and bisquit with some hints of caramel, coffee and plums, moderate herbal hops. Taste is initially well-balanced with moderate intensity, turning into a moderately bitter finish with an acetic feel. Moderate to full body, oily mouthfeel, lively carbonation. A fairly solid Czech dark lager, not insanely complex but very tasty, should be great with meat.
