muffel (130) - Lower Saxony, GERMANY - SEP 30, 2011
Bottle (0.5L) from Pivní galerie in Prague. Pours a dark red/brown color with a small tan head that disappears quickly. Medium carbonation and body. Smell of malt and dark fruits. It’s got roasty taste of dark chocolate, burnt malt and the warmer it gets a little sweetness and hint of caramel too. Nice bitterness in the aftertaste, not too much, but it doesn’t really fit to the overall taste.

auvajs (144) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 6, 2011
Bottle from Pivní galerie. Cola like black color, light brown foam. Interesting taste - it’s sweet, roasted (maybe way too much), darksome and fruity. Good start but landing way too early.

Rune (7948) - Tromsř, NORWAY - APR 21, 2011
500ml bottle kindly provided by my drinking pal, Finn. Dense, fawn coloured head rapidly reduced to a few patches. Fragile, spotty lacework. Dark, rusty brown body. Smell of dry and mid-sweet grainy malts and herbal hops. Roasted caramel malts to the taste buds supported by hints of dark fruits. Dry, slightly sour finish. Easy to drink. Interesting expression of the style (Tromsř, 20.04.2011).

Dermi (625) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 1, 2011
50 cl, bottled. Pours clear beer, rufous in colour. Minimal head. Aroma: Coffee, sand, Taste: Medium sweetness, some roasted flavours. Pleasant bitterness. Palate: Medium body, dry. Overall: The flavours/taste has some kind of a combination that I do not like. Blah.
