500ml bottle kindly provided by my drinking pal, Finn. Dense, fawn coloured head rapidly reduced to a few patches. Fragile, spotty lacework. Dark, rusty brown body. Smell of dry and mid-sweet grainy malts and herbal hops. Roasted caramel malts to the taste buds supported by hints of dark fruits. Dry, slightly sour finish. Easy to drink. Interesting expression of the style (Tromsř, 20.04.2011).

50 cl, bottled. Pours clear beer, rufous in colour. Minimal head. Aroma: Coffee, sand, Taste: Medium sweetness, some roasted flavours. Pleasant bitterness. Palate: Medium body, dry. Overall: The flavours/taste has some kind of a combination that I do not like. Blah.

BeerBaboon (1747) - FINLAND - FEB 16, 2011
Kyseessä on tumman ruskea, hyvin tumma olut, joka tykkää ottaa päälleen vaalean ruskeaa vaahtoa. Tuoksussa on suklaata, paahtuneisuutta ja hedelmäisyyttä. Oluen maku on paahtunut, hieman hedelmäinen, hieman katkera, hieman makea ja ruohoisen humaloitu.

mattphilips (802) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 10, 2011

Bottle from Voldby Křbmandsgĺrd Pours dark amber, almost like a Coke, with a big creamy tanned head. Aroma is sweet dark malts and caramel. Taste is the same, but with a good hoppy aftertaste mixed with the sugary and caramelly finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Good dunkel.

Nagyon keserű akar lenni. De ez az íz alig tud áttörni a sör tömény vizességén.

500ml bottle. Color: Dark brown with reddish tones. Head: Light brown semithick head, foamy. Aroma: a hint of citrus hoppy, metallic tones, hint of roasted malts. Palate: semithick at the beginning, bubbly and light at the end. Flavor: Some roasted malts, not much. A little bit of dark chocolate. Sour end. Pretty watery. Decent, drinkable beer, nothing spectacular.

Pours very dark red with a light head. Aroma is heavily roasted malts. Flavor is also very roasted, with a hint of pitch black coffee. Not my cup of tea, but pretty decent.
