Golden colour with minimal white head, average carbonation. Very, very smokey aroma (like ham). This ends up in taste of smoked malt. I personally didn’t like this kind of aroma in large amount but it’s an interesting beer to taste.

Különleges Sörök Boltja, Budapest - 1,5 l pet. Enyhén barnás árnyalatú arany szín, habja kissé piszkosfehér, kemény és kitartó. Nem egy Rauchbier-ről van itt szó? Mert illatát és ízét is egyértelműen a füstölt maláta határozza meg, igaz nem túl erősen, emellett ízében van egy kis karamell, illetve alkoholos édesség, egy idő után eléggé zavaró az egész ízhatás, lefárasztja az ízlelőbimbókat. Közepesen testes, száraz és megfelelően szénsavas sör. Amúgy székelykáposztához jól mehet, meg az összes könnyedebb Rauchbier, csak így eszembe jutott...

Tak takto ne. Fakt špatně pitelné pivo, novopacký pivovar tímto dostává černý puntík.

Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, malty nose with touch of smoke. Sweet malty, weak hoppy and unpleasant odd smokey taste with notes of herbs and hay. Bitter smokey finish. Didn’t like this.

Poured a darker gold body with a small thick slightly off white head that went away rather fast. Fine sweet grainy malty nose, some hay (first time I use this descriptor in my notes and it get confirmed by someone else, yay!). The taste, however is a bit of a letdown. A smokey, woody bitterness dominates it wholly, leaving just tiny windows for a light sweet maltiness and some pine to show up. Crude and bitter hoppy aftertaste. Ends up being original in a way but way too crude for its own good.
