COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From Canada’s ocean playground. (Ed. note: Rudder’s doesn’t even make a stout, so where this beer comes from is a bit of a mystery, but it’s only made in Germany for Haus der 131 Bier).

Bottle. A clear, reddish dark brown beër with a nice, light beige head. Some fresh fruits, caramel, nuts and dried fruits in the flavor. Rather thin on the palate, not actually thin though, with soft carbonation. Nuts, dried fruits, caramel and some faint notes of coffee in the flavor. Rather boring finish too, and too sweet. Definitely not packed with flavor this one, uninteresting, but drinkable. 121019
