on tap at the brewery pours amber, tall off white head. Light sweet tea aroma. Sweet light malt, mild roasted malt and a nutty, bread finish. Moderate carbonation, full bodied. A well rounded dark lager, right in every way.

Shady dark brown to black color. Big beige head, creamy and lasting. Not much scent. Normal mouthfeel and bitterness. Rather nice beer, but not truly exceptional.

Clear deep ruby red color, big creamy tan head. Acidic and butterscotch scent. Acidic, butterscotch, sweet and grainy taste. Some coffee and cocoa aftertaste. Rather dry. Medium mouthfeel though to the smooth side. Medium bitterness.

Svesse (6157) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2008
(Draught at Novomestsky Pivovar, Prague, 22 July 2008) Dark ruby colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of wort, dark bread, brewing house and roasted grain. Malty taste with dark bread, wort, raisins and a bittersweet finish. Nice beer.

Couleur très foncée allante vers le rouge rubis, parsemé d’une mousse légèrement beige adhérant très bien à la paroi du verre. Arômes très levuvés rappelant l’oxalide et le céleri amer laissant ensuite la vedette au malt torréfié, au caramel, aux biscuits grillés, à la cerise de terre puis finalement à une subtile touche de café. Relativement maltée et sucré en bouche, une touche de mélasse et de cerises noires nous ramène finalement encore au café semi-amer. On y reconnaît facilement la même signature de levure présente dans la version pâle. Allant droit un but et d’une simplicité prononcée, elle demeure très adéquate et plaisante à boire. Dégusté en fut à la brasserie même Prague, voyage Europe 2005.

Draught. Deep ruby red colour, mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, some raisins and mildly roasted notes. Flavour is mildly roasted, quite sweet malts with some sllight earthy/yeasty notes.

On draught at Novomestsky Pivobar, Prague. A clear dark amber colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of caramel malt and some hops. Some spicey notes. The taste of caramel, dark fruits, like cherries, malts. It’s a little bitter. The aftertaste is more bitter.

En fût. Pinte dégustée directement à la brasserie. Arôme: Odeur de caramel avec une pointe chocolatée. Apparence: La couleur est brunâtre. Présence d’un large col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel avec une pointe d’houblon. Courte durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps et la texture sont mince. Faible effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de caramel en arrière goût. (Rating #1509)
