A lot of flavour here. Coffee, smoke, chocolate. Sweet and smoky to have just one or maybe two.

Tap@Novomestsky. Quite, smooth and sweetish. Light woody and slightly roasted, some caramel. Minimla hop bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink, but unexciting.

Keg at Novometsky. Brown with an off-white head. Caramel flavour. Some roast character. Quite thin.

Swingtop bottle. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are sweet lactose sugar, roast malt, chocolate, coffee, caramel and hops. Sweet and easy drinkable.

On tap at Novom?stský Pivovar, Prague. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dark malts, dark fruits, some slightly earthy notes, caramel and roasted malt. Sweet, malty, but balanced and a certain bitterness too. Easy to drink and quite tasty. Rather nice.

Tap (Novomestsky, Prague)
Gentle roasty aroma. Rich red. Lovely husky roasted taste. Medium palate, pleasant carbonation. A light easy drinker. Good for 3.5%.

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2004
A caramelly red/brown brew with more interest than the pale. Coffee, liquorice and toffee mingle in the taste with maltiness and a strange floury wheat texture. Sweetish, dark malt accented finish, pretty good but not in the same league as Dům. (Draught in Novomestsky Pivovar, Praha)

Somewhat hazy amber color, nice lasting offwhite head. Malty aroma, but also yeast enough to make me suggest this wasnt the perfect brew. Hoppy flavor, grassy and metallic.

Draught at Novomestsky Pivovar, Praha.
Hazy brown coloured, medium sized lasting pale beige head. Mild roasted malt and sweet caramel aroma with some subdued hop and yeast notes. Watery palate. Dry finish.

Had at the restaurant in Prague. Good but not as stand out in its own style as the pale was in its. Serving: Tap
