Dorqui (1283), Brescia, Italy Aug 14, 2008 Draught at Novomestsky Pivovar (Prague).
Torbid and clearly, rather dense orange color. Fresh and natural aroma with notes of malt, hay and maize. Rather bubbly and crisp taste, served nearly at room temp, much aromatic one and perfumed in the time. DSG (835), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 9, 2008 (6/24/08) Draught at the brewpub in Prague. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of some yeast, malt, some honey-ish notes and a bit of butterscotch. Sweetish flavor with hints of butterscotch and caramel and a bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. OK. Svesse (1621), Hässelby, Sweden Aug 2, 2008 (Draught at Novomestsky Pivovar, Prague, 22 July 2008) Golden yellow colour, hazy, with a frothy, white head. Malty, grassy nose with fresh hints of grassy hops. Malty, grassy taste with notes of toffee, yeast, sweet malt and a slightly bittersweet finish with hints of citrussy hops. Decent pilsener. Hazy orange color, creamy white head. Lemon, bread, brewing mash in the nose. Light bready, "typical" brew pub beer. Slightly lemony, sweetish malty, crisp with hoppy aftertaste. thewolf (3490), Kolding, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Tap @ Novomestsky Pivovar, Prague.
Pours hazy, deep, golden amber with a great, big, creamy, slightly off-white had. Aroma is sweet, light toffee, some slight grass and flowers. Okay mouthfeel, low carbonation. Flavour has a good deal of butter, but it doesn’t seem as out of place as in other Bohemian Pilsners. Light citric and grassy hops mix with a caramel note at the finish. Which is also slightly hoppy dry.
