Sweet flavor with some sugariness, and some light coffee-ish hints. Medium-bodied. Dark ruby brown color, firm big brown head. Sweety-bready, caramelly and lightly diacetylic nose. Light chocolaty and sweet caramelly flavor with some woody hops. Kind of drinkable, but didn’t impress me. thewolf (3490), Kolding, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Tap @ Novomestsky Pivovar, Prague.
Pours deep black with brownish edges. A great, creamy, beige head on top. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, toffee and lightly roasted malts. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, good, soft chocolate and a finely balanced roastedness at the end. Long aftertaste. yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 From tap at the restaurant. Pours cloudy dark brown with a redish glare and a slowly collapsing light tan head. Butterish and mild roasted malt aroma. Mild roasted to just toasted malt, light liqourice note and mild sweetness in the flavour. Ends mild malty and slight toasted with no bitterness.
