A white, light beer, aromatic and refreshing with soft winter wheat and malted barley, Wissant White is ideal for drinking in summer, but also all year round to accompany fish, shrimps, crabs and so on.

Bottle 75cl kindly shared by Calisky. A cloudy pale yellow beer with medium head and poor retention. Nose is on yeast and coriander. A sweet malty and wheat like beer, lemony touch, correct wheat notes, very belgian like, good for the summer.

750ml corked bottle poured into a La Trappe Witte glass. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of wheat bread, hazelnuts, oatmeal and lemon. Taste is light sweet with light bitterness. Mouthfeel is light bodied, watery texture with soft carbonation. Too watery with an odd unappealing flavour I donít like. Maybe in the summer accompanied with shellfish this beer might be better, but judged on itís own itís definitely not for me.

Color is white yellowish. Good head. Taste in the distance something slightly spicy and citrus-like but tastes also quite watery.

Blanche molto beverina e dissetante, un po' povera di corpo e struttura, ma da una blanche nn si chiede questo :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Gift from a business partner of Chrissie. I hate the corking in these Noyon beers. Not enough cork showing to get a good grip to pull them out, yet too high from the bottle to use a waiterís friend corkscrew. Itís a question of push, twist, push, twist, for ages. Blah! The beer is pleasant, but very run of the mill. Itís a standard watery/refreshing wheat beer. A slice of lemon would really assist the flavours to come through. Best drunk to accompany food, as itís too wimpish to stand up by itself. Nothing wrong here, itís just lacking in impact or interest. Iíve had global lagers with more character.
