A smell of bread yeast and a taste of fruit beers make this beer a rather good white bier

Pours a very light golden straw color with a n impressive large, fluffy, white head. Aroma is light of wheat, spice, and fruit. Flavor is pleasent, but not strong enough. Earthy, spice, and citrus. Mouth is a bit thin and pretty cabonated. A good beer, but i could use more flavor.

rauchbier (3596) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2007
750ml corked, bottle conditioned from Beer Cellar in Lincoln. Faintly hazy, good lasting fluffy white head and gentle condition. Pleasantly grainy sweet and mildly fruity aromas with a little spiciness, quite thin in the mouth with a slight estery edge and a touch of grain but all too muted. Thin and slightly metallic in the finish with just a hint of spiciness. Disappointing.

Bottled, during the graveyard session, London Drinker Beer Festival, March 2006. Cloudy straw colour. Wheaty nose and palate. Touches of citrus and spice. Maybe some orange zest. Entirely competent, but I found it a bit nondescript

Bottle. BLANCHE! Quite nice, clovey and soft. Typical citrus finish. This seems rounder than most witbiers, and the flavour seems fuller, very pleasant.

75cl bottle at the St George’s Cemetary Bottle Tasting. Hazy gold colour with thick white head. Lemony, nice wheat beer from the Nord Pas de Calais area. Good complexity really nice citrus fruit. I liked this. Along with Lorraine, this was fun. BLANCHE!!!
