Medium offwhite head. Hazy amber body with carbonation. Wooden vanilla and cheese aroma with raspberry notes. Dryish spicy seedes of paradise, caramel and sugary malts taste with buttery grassy spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, buttery mouthfeel. Dryish spicy buttery vinous honey aftertaste with caramelly herbal notes. Nice, interesting, and unusual. (0.75l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen, last year.)

Couldn’t resist a bottle meant for cheese pairing, bought at the Traditions en Nord shop in Cassel. Pleasant, sweetish, fruity nose with bits of appleskin and core. Quite malty, honey and light caramel, without being overly sweet. Fair bitterness and touch of alcohol heat. A bit of coriander, I think. With the cheese: sweetness works well with a salty selection. Big enough beer for it, too. Bubble action helps with the creamier ones too.

Bottle from Salling. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are malt, bread, cheese, fruits and hops. Full bodied with low carbonation. Smooth finish.

bottle from Calais Vins, tasted together with cheeses from the North of France, e.g. Sablé de Wissant. Hazy straw golden colour, mid-sized white head. Fruity aroma. Spicy hops with some good, sweet malts with a shy fruity touch - this really is a good companion for cheese. Very nice beer.

Dark yellow coloured and hazy. Has tiny particles. White head, mostly lasting. Aroma is heavy malty, light bread, moderate yeasty. Flavor starts heavy sweet and finish light bitter. Cremy texture and soft carbonation.

Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Huge, frothy, white head. Excellent lacing. Clear, yellow body. Heavy sweet flavor with notes of hops. Medium palate.
