Pours a hazy and brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, spices, cinnamon, alcohol and fruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness with alcoholwarmth. Overall an average beer.

Pours clear chestnut with a big frothy, yellow-beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted, light liqourice. Medium carbonation, light a slightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, astringent, ashy, liqourice, plums, vinious, coriander, cloves. Quite a fine beer.

Bottle, 75cl corked. An unclear, dark amber to brown beer with a minimal sized off-white to dark light beige head. It’s malty on the nose, with caramel and dried fruits, Quite fruity and hoppy on the nose. Something similar to licorice or coffee too. Dry on the palate with pleasant carbonation and something roasted in the flavor. Not as licorice-ish as the aroma. Dry, roasted finish with a touch of alcohol. A quite nice one, I’m sure it goes well as a Christmas beer. 110722
