3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Thorpe429 (4844) - , Illinois, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Big thanks to forgetfu for sharing this bottle. Served in a mini gueuze glass. Pours a slightly-hazy caramel-crimson color with a short head. The nose brings a bit of acidity along with blackberry. Flavor has blackberry and some acidity without much backing in the way of funk or minerality. Not bad, but not all too full of depth. Body is light-medium with good carbonation. Good, but not great.

Bottle 750ml @ fonefan
Pours slightly hazy deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma is sour with a classic geuze aroma with berries. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a long dry, vinous, fruity and sour finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft to fizzy.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Scopey (3243) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2012
Bottle thanks to the Cad at Leighton’s birthday celebrations. It pours deep pink, with a thick, foamy light pink head. The nose is farmyard, manure, TCP, medicinal, floral, jam and starch. The taste is lemony tartness, blackberry, red grape, redcurrant, apple, vinous, juicy fruit, hay, floral and wood, with a juicy-tart finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well balanced. For me this is quite juicy and not super-sour. Very drinkable stuff.

11/VIII/2012 75cl bottle from a trade with the brewer @ RBBSG - (2012-902)
Clear bright red beer, aery off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: soft bretta notes, sour touch, bit vinous, lots of berries, I’m getting mainly raspberries, bit of chloride, lambic sourness. MF: quite some carbon, but ok, medium body. Taste: sour, bit metallic start, fruity touch, sour cherries, raspberries, little grassy bitterness. Aftertaste: sour citric, bit metallic, bretta, lemony notes, berries. A job well done (even though it wasn’t that hard of a job, right guys? ;-)
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bart (2915) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 30, 2012
75cl Bottle @ RBBSG, courtesy of tderoeck. Light amber coloured beer with no carbonation and a small off white head. Fruity sour short grainy hinted aroma. Full light sprankling sour fruity palate. Finish is light fruity sour balanced with a longer frouty sour ending, not to expressive but very enjoyable.

Bottle. Cheers to MagicDave for the pour. Lovely hazy red color. Big, funky barnyard nose. Cheesy taste, loads of funky sour fruit and urine. Really drinkable and not over the top. Soft carb, light body. Good.

bottle shared by tom10101, many thanks! pours hazy light pinkish with a nice frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing. barn, dry unripened red fruits (although they lie low in aroma), (very) few acetic notes, pepper, red grape skin’s acidity and tannins finishing with a balanced astringency likely associated to blackberries. almost prickly carbonation, light body, refreshing, classic (in its own way) and good!

Shared by forgetfu. Thanks Bill! The beer is light crimson with a quarter inch of head. The nose brings berries and funk. Decent flavor with a tart finish. Sour berries and earth. Dry finish. An enjoyable beer that was not on my radar. Overall, this was pretty good.
