For a regular ordinary global pils, this isnt too bad. Some corn and residual sweetness that can be a little much for a beach party, but still very nice. Alcohol is a bit high for this style of beer and takes away from it being a refresher.

Bought back from New Caledonia. Crisp and clean enough. Would do the job in a warm climate.

33cl can courtesy of jaghana, merci! bb "Fin DEC 2014". Very much a near-drinkable geography lesson, this canned collectivity of cardboard, corn sugar and starch aligns the French Melanesians, aka "Kanaky" (Wiki), with the global Kronenbourg-Heineken taste, making palates dry across the world since colonialism collapsed on itself to create insipid outre-mer dependencies. An imaginative stretch, surely, but about what you’d imagine the prime beerlike beverage of such an insipid Pacific dependency, an Oceanic archipel nearly the size of Belgium, would taste like, should your palate doze off after watching a docu about New-Zealand and suddenly wake up a few miles off dream route, dehydrated and fish-mouthed. Gardons notre ile propre!

Can 33cl, kindly given by Thierry. A yellow beer with low head, nose is on toasted malt. Aroma is sweet, medium malty to low, corn sugar notes, quite bitter, same taste as cheap industrial lager from Germany anyway a bit better than expected.

Pas grand chose d’intéressant dans cette bière, mis à part que c’est la seule qu’on peut trouver facilement en Nouvelle-Calédonie et qu’il fait plutôt chaud là-bas :)

330ml tin. smooth head, pale in colour, medium head. Mild taste. Overall, strangely, it actually appealed to me. Part of a gift pack from New Caledonia. Consumed 14/2/2014

12oz can thanks to Travlr. New, weird country tick! Pours a clear gold with one ring of white head. Standard nose, some corn, honey, grass, soggy white bread. Flavor is the same, soggy white bread, honey, creamed corn. Clean finish. Could have been worse.
