This comes out of the tap a nice clear dark golden with a thick, fine-bubbled head. Aroma is strong and richly hoppy with a hint of spice. Flavor is very hoppy and fairly but not fiercely bitter, and has a touch of sweetness and of spice. Texture is a bit edgy, but it does down the hatch quite smoothly.

12 oz, bottled 08/20/08. Clear, orange-amber with two-fingers of sticky meringue that leaves crunchy lace all over the glass. Spicy orange, caramel and tea leaf aromas. Flavor is orange, caramel, and a light-fruit blend that is balanced nicely by a wood-and-resin, lightly peppery hop finish. Light-medium body is mostly smooth and well balanced in both mouthfeel and dryness. Pleasantly surprised by this very good session ale in the English style; seems more an ESB than a Golden.

bottle. pours a dirty blonde with little head. pleasant malt based hop aroma... english bitterness with big malt presence throughout. average bitter finish... not bad for a local session beer.

on tap-pours a creamy off white retaining head and gold color. Aroma is musty/husky grain. Taste is musty/husky grain-medium malt, some earthy hops-slight bitter. Smooth. OK carbonation.

golden, white foam, slightly hazy, wonderful head. nice a subtle biscuit aroma. Solid hop aroma, more earthy that anything else and rather mild. Light notes of citrus and good floral hop flavors. Very drinkable brew.

Draft at Tap. Golden yellow, creamy head. Faint bitter hop aroma. Biscuit malt, lingering earthy and floral bitterness. A bit musty. Not bad, just a typical golden.

Almost an amber....has a lot of fruitiness to it that I like. Good balance or hops and malt. Very smooth. I could drink this a lot.

Bottle courtesy of pyuke: Poured a clear golden colour with a decent sized white head. Nice lacing left behind. Nice nose, firm hops, some grass and earth. Taste has a lil bit of metallicy taste, but not too much. I didn’t think this was a cream ale. But if it is, it’s damn good! Thanks PAul :)
