3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On cask at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a decent white head. A citric aroma of lemon, lime, caramel and yeast. Similar flavours and quite drinkable with mild carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Not bad.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton, 20/04/12. Misted gold with a slim white top. Lemony, slight Whiskas aroma. A bit meaty; some honeyed apricot, strawberry ester hints, corn finish. Not great, but possibly not in top nick. Didnít finish.

Cask (Cambridge Blue, Cambridge)
6 Nutty aroma, just says íbrowní all over it.
3 Yup, looks like a bitter, slightly darker than average nowadays.
5 You can see itís a bitter, but itís laden with chalky minerals.
4 Fortunately, the finish is good - soft and earthy.
12 Plusses and minuses - pleasant, but also dull.
