3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2009 Draught at the Cseh Csillagok beerfest at the Millenáris, Budapest. The beer has a nice amber body with a creamy tan head(it was draughted with nitro). Fine sweet buttery aroma of malt and caramel, some fruity character, light hop perfume. Smooth mouthfeel with sweet malt and caramel, light hop in the finish. Nice and drinkable one, but not a pilsner style.
Now it was bottled, without nitro... It is worst than before, not so powerful...Not bad, only not so powerful:)

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Clear copper beer. Light soda-like head diminishes almost completely. The aroma is sweetish malty, almost caramelly and it has fruity esters. Some grains too. Hops are herbal but not particularly strong. Some buttery diacetyl in the finish. The falvor is malty, a bit grainy and it has sweetness of light candi-sugar. Medium, but very soft bitterness in the finish. The palate is medium bodied, oily and soft carbonated. Somehow too sweet and estery for a pils.

0.5 l bottle. Copper color with quickly vanishing head. Mallty, caramelly and honeyish aroma with herbal-peppery hops. Bittersweet, caramelly, honeyish and sugary flavor with herbal-peppery hops. Has some good maltiness and hoppiness but gets too sweet and sugary after a while.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 ml bottle. Finland.
Aroma is very buttery. Flavour is even more of that. I do not know if it is good or better. It is almost like drinking liquid butter... Who would not like that?

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Clear, deep golden color with a small but tight, lightly lacy head. Aroma of buttery diacetyl, and hints of herby-aromatic hops. Dried fruit and hints of alcohol emerge when warmed up a bit. Diacetyl also dominates the slightly sweet flavor, along with a solid, malty body, some herby hops, dried fruit, and grainy malt. Not much bitterness, and a smooth, mellow, buttery-malty finish. Medium body with medium, quite soft carbonation. A quite basic Czech lager/pils with just enough diacetyl to satisfy a hardcore Czech fan.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
500ml bottle - - Alko - -
Medium gold, healthy head. Sweet grainy aroma, touch of honey, some floweriness. Rather lagery. Lively carbonation, quite full bodied for a lager, I imagine an unfiltered version of this is pretty tasty. Taste was mostly grainy and sweet malt/honey dominated, the hops are definitely there but really quite indistinct. Slight touch of alcohol at times. Not fresh and crisp enough to press my pilsner buttons. However, a fairly tasty brew that I enjoyed to the end.
