pilsnerrogge (1609), Finspång, Sweden Aug 1, 2003 (On tap at The Ardbeg Room, Stockholm, Sweden) Pale amber, thick head. Very fruity (pineapple). Very tasty. Golden, and this time served as a "sieben minuten pils" in a pint glass! Managed to fool some "newbies" that it was a regular lager... This batch was very hoppy indeed. Lots of Goldings and Fuggles in aroma, flavour and aftertaste. (Lovely burps...). A full bodied summer drink. ante (2525), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 2, 2003 Updated: May 13, 2005(draught)Pale orange color. Hops and fruity malt in aroma. Taste: very fruity (pineapples, peaches, citrus-peels and tart apricot) with a huge cascade-bitterness. Long hoppy finish. fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Apr 13, 2005 Cloudy light amber color; nice creamy cap. The hoppy aroma is floreal, with light fruity notes. The taste is well malty, and even more hoppy, with a lot of hop resins. The final is of course powerful, long and exciting. Very much enjoyable. Thanks Per for this bottle. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 3, 2002 The simply ;-) pronounced Ålö [aw-lir] Ale is Golden coloured, light bodided, very well hopped and bitter!
