Flavor is very roasty with lots of caramel and some hops. Roasty malty aroma with some faint vinegary notes. Dry smoky roasty peppery taste with wooden charcoal notes. Quite sweet, but also faintly acidic. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry roasty resiny aftertaste. Sweet with aromas of caramel and hints of roasted malts. Also some hoppy fruityness of eldeberry and grapes. Dry finish. brontebeach (14), England May 6, 2008 Draught at the Rover in Gothenburg. Pours golden brown with a light brown soapy head. Initial tang on the tongue, slightly metallic with a grapefruit aftertaste.
