MrWalker (928), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 4, 2005 Updated: Jan 14, 2006Keg @ Stockholm Beer Festival 2005 Quite hop aromatic for a brown ale. Slightly medicinal taste. Bread-full and low on bitterness. 6/3/6/4/12 3.1 Rerate: Cask @ Akkurat, Stockholm Jan 13 2005 A completely different brew. Aroma so full of flowery hops (Fuggles?). Full bodied malty taste with flowery hops and a cereal finish. Great one! DrBeer (744), Danderyd Stockholm, Sweden Nov 13, 2006 Brown with thin white head.
Aroma of roasted fresh malt, hops and grains.
Malty flavour with notes of licorice, chocolate and hops. Elegant bitterness.
ante (2525), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 1, 2005 Updated: Apr 28, 2007Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse, 68, Stockholm. This is a review of the latest btach (served in April 2007).Pours out in a hazy brown colour topped with a rich and sticky white head. Huge hoppy aroma, not piney or grassy, just the Nynäshamns trademark hoppiness of cedar-wood and grapefruit-peels with malty notes of roasted malts and spun sugar just to balance things out. Medium bodied with strong hoppy and bitter notes of cedar-wood and lemon-peels. Hints of milky chocolate. Long dryish finish of toasted malts, wood, grapefruit and gun-smoke. Probably one of the most unbalanced brown ale I’ve sampled but the the flavours and the hops is really tasty. Old rating 3.4.

Good pale brown head that lasted throughout the drink. A mouthwatering aroma, hinting at a, for a Brown Ale, unusual hoppiness and a lovely dry, slightly citrusy flavour with a refreshing bitterness. Furseth (1166), Kungälv, Sweden Jun 26, 2007 Draught at The Rover-Göteborg.
Deep red/amber clear colour,nice head.
Aroma is hopy, flowers, nice mix if fruits and bitter in the end.
Flavor is almost the same, malty, thin to medium body, nice sweet/hopy medium finish.
