Beautiful dark amber color, creamy head. Very nice aroma, malt and earthy hop. Good body, with strong caramel flavor and strong bitterness, toffee too. Strong and long final, grassy. Very good.

2007-09-20, draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007, 7-4-8-5-16=40
with Amarillo, Cascade, Saaz
Beautiful amber color; creamy head. Malty aroma, with some hay and manure, very light sweat and spices. Good body strength, with an excellent flavor of malt and caramel, well balanced by a strong bitterness that hides the sugars; the caramel flavor is raising; the good hops bring in a lot of oils and an excellent bitter toffee flavor. The final is powerful and very long, with light nutmeg spiceness and a good warming feeling too. Excellent.

Red-orange. Tan onm the head. Aroma is hopy. Citrus. Flavor is nutty, bitter and hopy. Round and fully loaded. Well made!!

On-tap at The Rover, Gothenburg. Deep red color with off-white head. Aroma of hops, flowers, grapefruit, dark bread, yeast, sweet fruit and caramel. Hoppy and fruity taste with notes of grapefruit, apples, grass, dark bread, yeast and some sourness. Dry finish. I like it, but Bedarö Bitter is better.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 21 Sep 2007) Amber colour with brief off-white head. Fruity, slightly yeasty nose with notes of orange, apricots and generous amounts of earthy, resiny hops. Fruity taste with orange peel, grapefruit, hints of yeast and lots of earthy hops in a long, fairly dry finish. Great hop character very much in the same vein as most of their ales. (7/4/8/4/15=3.8). Rerate 29 Oct 2007 (Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Mainly the same aroma and taste, but even sharper hop character. Lovely!

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear amber, rich airy head. Flowery, resiny hop aroma. Dry with firm, clean malt. Relly well hopped with long very bitter finish.
