Ruby-brown colour. Toasty, nutty aroma. Smooth body. Very nutty palate with rounded, complex malt flavours. Excellent dunkel.

Dark brown, creamy head. Aroma of licorice and grass. Very dry with roasty maltiness. Firm, crisp and pleasantly hoppy with lingering bitter finish. More of a black pilsener than anything else.

(sampled draught at Ardbeg Room, Stockholm, Sweden) Dark brown with a big, creamy, dense, tan coloured head. Aromatic aroma of hops, licorice, dark chocolate and orange-peels. Flavour starts with dark chocolate and cocoa before a strong flavour of licorice takes over. Hops, licorice, salt and grass in finish. Well-rounded body.

dark ruby-brown colour, almost no foam with just some big bubbles, aroma of licorice and prune, toasted, sweet and rather light-bodied, the finish is slightly bitter showing some caramel - subtle and rich

Dark brown, translucent , no head at all. Nutty, slightly roasted aroma. Flavor has slighty hoppy bitterness. Very light body, wet. Carmel finish.
