Draugh at GFW68. Blech! Either this keg was off or this is a horrible, horrible beer! Diacetyl all over the place, couldn’t find any citrus... come to think of it.. this had nothing but diacetyl. Like drinking butter.

Sep 20, 2008 On tap at MacKinlay’s Inn, Stockholm. Cloudy deep golden with a solid head. Spicy and citric aroma, hints of coriander, but mostly lemons. Sour flavours, lemons, very dry. Good fruit and brettanomyces. Relatively light-bodied. A serious take on a Belgian saison with great orvalesque character.

Aug 22, 2008 (Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-08-21) Orange and cloudy. White head with small bubbles, didn’t last long. Fruity nose with hints of banana. Light-bodied palate with lot of carbonation. Some banana, hint of salty liquorice, sweetness, bit of grass, bitterness and sweetness in taste.

Aug 7, 2008 On tap at The Rover, Gothenburg. Pours a unclear, orange body with an off-white head. Floral and fruity, slightly herbal nose with canned peach and some spices. Peach, some caramel, fruit syrup, some bitterness and a touch of spice in the mouth. Medium body, quite low on carbonation. Sweet and fruity finish. An unusual, but rather quaffable and pleasant beer. Maybe it deserves a higher rating. (080710)
