Bottle @ Papsø. Pours hazy amber with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is toffee, raisin, honey, fresh herb, butter. Taste is light+ sweet, light bitter and light tart. Body is light, texture is oily/thin, carbonation is soft. Finishes watery and sweet/sour. Didn’t make much sense of this.

Flaske, 25 cl, tak Papsøe. Næsten helt klar gylden ravfarvet, med et lille hvidt skum langs kanten. Sødlig, krydret næse med noter af honning og porse. Lidt flad. Smager af fermenteret korn, honning, branket smør.

Bottle 25 cl. Pours a clear amber with close to no head. Odd sppicy aroma - but somewhat enticing. Honeyish. Medium body, hardly any carbonation - for 10% this feels almost thin. Again these woody, honeyish notes with a spicy edge. A slight tartness towards the finish, but no hop character whatsoever. Alcohol is not really felt at all. Curious and interesting. 080614

Flaske 0,25l fra Systembolaget Luleå, Storheden. Gyldenbrun. Pent tett skum som varer en stund. Aroma av svisker & plommer. Vinøs. Smaken “lett” som hvitvin. Lite annet. Uvanlig øl.

Bottle shared by Geten, thanks! Hazy amber with a small white head. Raisin, plum, and liqourpraline in aroma. Taste is dry and tart with loads of raisin. Dry aftertaste with raisin.
Had no idea about the lingonberries in this beer, that explains the tartness. Interesting!

250 ml bottle. Hazy amber colour. Very small off-white head. Earthy honey aroma. Sourish flavours at first. Light bodied. Acidic on the tongue. Sour and flat. Hints of nuts, but a little one dimensional in flavour. Lacking depth for drinkability. Interesting beer, but not particularly good.

250ml bottle from Systembolaget

Pours dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet bready malts, hints of syrup and spices. Taste is sweet, tartish and bready malty with loads of syrup, sticky berries and yeast. Finish is stuffy, sticky and sweet with some bready maltiness and syrup. Quite messy.

25 cl bottle.
Pours clear mahogany color with a small head. Aroma is almost repulsive with ripe fruits and vegetables, some earth notes and wood. Flavor of grain, corn, veggies and mild fruits. Not sure what this is supposed to be. Crap.
