Bottle, at Kookfest, September 2006. Thanks to Per for this one. Hazy gold colour. Plenty of spicy hops and fruity malt in evidence and nicely balanced. Fair amount of bitterness on the finish. Not and ostentatious beer but quite impressive.

Dark amber colored, medium sized ligth brown head. Aroma is strongly hopped and bitter with good floral and licoricy tones. Medium bodied. Flavor has milder hops with sweeter touch, licorice and flowers also there. Aftertaste has balanced bitterness with crispy palate and some lasting floral tones.

Draught. Clear copper colour with a white head. Malty hoppy, pine aroma. Sweet malty hoppy flavor with some hints of pine needles. Dry malty finish with some bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Light brown colour and crystal clear. Tall white creamy head. Delicious fruit hop and rich malt aroma. Smooth and very drinkable.

Draught@The Rover, Goteborg. Nice hoppy aroma, quite flowery. The hops are noticeable on the palate. This had a slight buttery edge to it, lightly sweet. Flowery hos in the finish.

Bottle @ Kookfest. Citrussy fruity hops. Clean but flavoursome malts. Nice full bitterness. Well balanced, drinkable, just very nice.

Kook’s Final London Gathering. Juicy malt with grinding, grainy notes. Good hop flavours swimming on top in a fascinating manner. Enjoyable, interesting, compelling, moreish, original. A damn enjoyable beer.

Bottle at Kook’s Leaving Do at Chris_o’s. Hazy copper with thin lasting off white head. Nice grapefruit hop aroma. Quite juicy in the mouth. Lovely hop. Finish has more rose petal hop. Lovely.

(On tap) Hazy, amber golden with a nice, dense, off-white head. Fresh and floral nose. Light to medium-bodied, lightly malty and then again these fresh floral and citrusy notes. Ends on a rather bitter note. A light and very refreshing session ale. 240806
