UPDATED: AUG 2, 2008 Bottle at Delirium Tremens, Gothenburg. Copper-coloured with white, dense head. Nice lacings. Fruity/hoppy flavor. Light bitterness. Very drinkable. Rating: 7-4-7-3-15-3.6. (051008)

On tap at The Rover, Gothenburg. An almost clear golden beer with a white head. Resiny hoppyness with citrus, and pale malt in the aroma. Quite dry, medium mouthfeel with orangey hops, pale malt and some peppery hops in the finish. Almost feeling a bit astringent in the mouth, and a long bitter, citrusy finish. A nice and refreshing beer, easy to drink and worth a revisit. (080709)

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2008 (Draught@Pikkulintu) Hazy golden with a small head. Crisp and lemony aroma with bitter hops. Very crisp and bitter, dry and pine-lemony flavor with a touch of toffee, and an astringent, dry-woody finish. Almost medium body, intensely bitter, soft-carbonated. Insanely bitter for the body, but remains a crisp "turbo pilsener ale" for the summer. (Bottled@Stockholm Beer Festival 2005, was 6-3-7-3-13=3.2) Very hazy amber color with a large, tight and creamy, lacy head. Sourish aroma, slightly lambic-like aroma with some toffee and coffee hints. Quite hoppy, dry-sourish, slightly buttery flavor. Dry, bitter-woody finish. A slight disappointment.

Deep gold. Tight, fine head. Strong floral aroma, a little hint of honey. Dominant hop flavour overpowers the fairly delicate malt flavour. Plenty of body and sweetness but it’s a bit over hopped. Thanks Per.

Dark amber with white head, almost diminishing, excellent lacings. Aroma moderate malty, heavy hoppy (flower, pine). Flavor light sweet, very bitter, long duration. Light body, watery, flat carbonated.

Hazy but bright orangy color, good creamy off-white head. Strong hoppy nose (Fuggles propably). Medium-bodied with pretty nice malt character. Good hopping for this style. Some sweet and oaky notes. Well-made and enjoyable.

Hazy golden color. The aroma is hoppy and yeasty; light fruits. Malt and caramel flavor, medium bodied, the final is a bit harsh, strong bitterness.

Cloudy light amber color; nice creamy cap. The hoppy aroma is floreal, with light fruity notes. The taste is well malty, and even more hoppy, with a lot of hop resins. The final is of course powerful, long and exciting. Very much enjoyable.

Dec 2004, Swedish dregs, Alts etc tasting w/MartinT, tiggmtl and Rastacouere #6. Gorgeous b/w low-res photocopy label! 500 ml? bottle. Light salmon color, decent head...bits of citrus and strange unearthly hops in the nose...fairly strong hops in the body, some wood...quaffable and boring.

Intriguing flowery hop nose is not a variety I am familiar with. Pale orange-tan with partial cover of dense white head and light lacing. Fair bitterness with woody flavours, floral, perfumey hops and a lightly salty finish. Vegetable flavour emerges as it warms. Simple and somewhat still in the mouth. Bottle sampled with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere. Thanks, Per!
