3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Joakgust (588) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 26, 2010

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 LanceUppercut (139) - SWEDEN - MAR 23, 2010
A good swedish version of an english BW! The taste is not overly malty or hoppy, but has a lot of soil, plums, portwine and raisins in it. This one was fresh, and not the best BW I’ve had, but I have great hopes of it developing in a positive direction when cellared.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 konstifik (573) - SWEDEN - MAR 12, 2010
Pours a slightly hazy copper with a quickly diminishing head. Very rich aroma of syrup, honey, dark sugars, sweet pineapple, toffee and figs. The taste is not at alls as sweet as I expected from the aroma, but still sweet of course. This is more elegant than heavy, lacking some punch. Let’s see how it develops in the cellar.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 ekstedt (4545) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2010
Bottle (25 cl) from Systembolaget. Was very surprised to see that I had not rated this beer, despite having sampled it several times. However, the colour is copper with a creamy beige head. Fruity and caramelly aroma with tropical fruits, raisins and almond paste. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Well balanced with a sweet edges. Very well done.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Ygberg (143) - SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2010
Appearance is dark brown with a small head. Aroma is sweet of raisins, prune and hops. Taste is very sweet of prunes, toffee and raisins but still a little sharp and hopy. Overall a very pleasant surprise that probably can mature in to a grate beer.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 ricke (476) - Malme, SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2010
Bottle.
Reddish brown color with a small off-white head. Small lacings.
The smell is nice and smooth with notes of dried fruits, malts, raisins, chocolate and a flare of hops.
The flavor is sweet and chewy with lots of caramel malts to the fore and notes of dried fruits, raisins, syrup and powdered chocolate. The finish is somewhat warming and bitter and has hints of sweet alcohol and earthy hops.
Full bodied and smooth with a slightly dry finish,
A bit one-sided at the moment but I really think this could develop some depth and complexity with a little age to it.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 hirigalzkar (1824) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 6, 2010
Bottle. The golden foam is just lovely! And the aroma gives you everything you want of sweet dried fruits. The taste is not that special... yet... its a little too sharp just now, but I bet this well develope in the cellar.
