COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Note: Unaged, nameless version pre-released in september 2007. Officially released as Bötet Barley Wine in september 2008.

Big thanks to markwise for scoring me this barleywine brew while we were in Denver. The 33cl bottle pours with a hazy amber body with copper hues that supports a lasting tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet honey and brown sugar covered prunes, plums and apples followed by a slight mineral yeastiness. The taste is similar with esteriness mixed with almost honey sweetness to malts sweetness. To midway it picks up pine to spicy hoppiness.
