Light amber with thick offwhite foam. Caramel and slight smoke. Full moutfeel, but not really typical for a DIPA.

Bottle @ Haand festival. Pour light orange, with a small white head. the hop-character is a little mellow, and I would want a little more from a DIPA. Taste is a little sweet, with only a little bit of hopy bitterness. Average body, with an average carb.

Described as an American style DIPA, but I think the aroma reminds me more of a British style. No fruitiness but caramel and malty. Amber color with a nice lasting creamy head. Taste is weak, almost as if the bottle is a little old. Weak bitterness, no American style over this at all. As I have tried this before on tap, this is not how I remember the taste. Maybe a bad batch... Nynäshamn is one of Sweden’s best breweries but this bottle does not impress.

fiulijn (14290) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 10, 2012
Dark amber color with red hue; creamy head. The aroma is really mediocre, far below expectations: puckery malt, sausages, make-up powder. Malt flavor with some caramel; very light residual sweetness, and light acidity, but the body is lean; there is a feeling of old beer; strong bitterness, some grass, but without much aromatic components.
Well drinkable, but nothing special.

Bottle at HaandFestival 2012. Nice DIPA, Lots of herbs in nose and palate, but not really outstanding.

Orange colour with a white head. Hoppy and fruity flavour. A bit weak flavour. Imperial DIPA? hmm. Well anyway a nice and tasty beer. Fruity and hoppy flavour. A nice malty background.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2014 (Bottle). The scent is a bit vague, but with many clear flavors such as fruit, raisins and alcohol. The taste is soft, and somewhat vague as the smell, but it also has a distinct flavor of hops, caramel malt, pine, citrus and alcohol. This is a bit "tricky" beer because there are many nice flavors in it, but many are quite hard to find. But I like it!

Bra kropp och mycket smak men ändå behagligt balanserad. Smaken är lite annorlunda gentemot vad jag druckit tidigare, inte sämre bara annorlunda. Slutsats: spännande och god.

Kind of "meh" for a DIPA. Pours clear orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is lightly floral, citric, fresh. Definitely hops, but not as present or rich as I would have preferred. Taste is similarly a bit weak, only lightly hoppy and bitter in the start (but not a lot of body), turning more bitter towards the finish. Body is fairly light, with a fair bit of carbonation. Abrupt finish.

Draught at Bishops Arms Gustav. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hops, grass and pine needles. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, hops, grass and pine needles. Dry hoppy finish.
