esox (1167) - Oulu, FINLAND - FEB 17, 2012
Draught @ Akkurat, Stockholm. Amber, slightly cloudy beer with creamy head. Resiny and floral hop notes, some citrusfruit, a touch of biscuits, caramel and yeast. Dry, slightly caramelly maltiness. Herbal bitterness. A bit thin on every aspect for a DIPA.

TEJA (1520) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 13, 2012

250ml bottle (?, Stockholm) - shared by SaintMatty - thanks!
6 Very biting nettley aroma. Pleasant but bodes of being oppressive.
3 Bold orange, almost no head, as it just fizzed away.
7 Amazingly bitter-orange retronasals. Huge biting bitterness. Some dry woodiness too.
4 Waxy palate due to the combination of the carbonation and the viscosity. Finish continues the tingly bitter hoppiness from the taste. It actually is a very good sipper, not too potent to be oppressive.
14 I feel like I’m under-rating this, there’s nothing that doesn’t say "very good beer". But it’s missing the wow factor by quite a way. To be honest, I’d rather have the Meantime IPA with both lower octane and a bigger bottle.

stouby (3871) - Holbæk, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2011
Draught at The Rover. Clear red-orange with a beige head. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, bread, fruity), moderate hoppy. Aroma heavy sweet, light bitter. Quite full-bodied, to cloying for me.
