Bottled at RBESG 2010 Grand Tasting. An amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, elderflowers, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of malt and caramel as well as medium notes of hops, elderlfowers, grapefruits, and other over ripe fruits.

25cl bottle. Pours a clear, deep amber with a foamy head. Hoppy, fruity, slightly earthy nose with notes of resin, grapefruit, apricots. Medium to full bodied, dry, intense hop flavours. OK balance, but alcohol comes through a bit. Malty, slightly yeasty, hops, resin, apricots, hay. Dry, bitter, hoppy finish, slightly earthy. A lighter, more elegant and subdued DIPA. Draft at Glenfiddich Warehouse No. 68, Stockholm. Aroma has some floral notes but mostly the malt powers through with a lot of bread and roasted tones. It looks beautiful though, mine was served in a snifter and it looked perfectly reddish with a nice white foam. The taste is where it lacks though, DIPAs and IPAs are generally my favorite types but this one was nothing of what I expected. The malty sweetness is there and it feels very full and rich in the mouth but the bitterness is almost nonexistent, very disappointing for a DIPA.
