(Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival) Dark. Spicy stout/porter feeling. Quite rich. Can’t quite figure out all the spices but there’s a definite "glögg"-thing going on. Not really sure if I like this.

Bottle at Haket, Göteborg.Almost black with a khaki head. Spicy and fruity aroma. Flavours are sweet with a tart and smoky edge. Personally, I like beers with a complex personality, this one not knowing whether it wants to be a dubbel or a porter. Originality goes a long way.

Lubiere (10700) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 26, 2006
Hazy dark brown ale with a thin off white head. Nice spiced aroma, with sweet malt, ginger and cloves. In mouth, the cloves are more predominant, and the body is lighter than expected. Still an interesting gift from Joris, April 2005. Enjoyed with Capflu. Dank U.

(500ml bottle) Courtesy of Joris via the way of Lubiere. Thanks boys! Pours a small beige creamy head resting atop a an opaque body. Nose is intensely fig, clove and minty. Much more candied ginger and cloves in the flavour with a very pleasant spicy malt with a minor, thin, exposed smoke in the finish. Lovely beer.
