Good. A bit thin perhaps in the end. A beer to drink a boring winter Sunday but not necessary on Christmas table

Dark amber with a light brown head - Malt and some spice in the aroma - Good malt body and there is olso a good spicy taste that is well integrated into the beer, and the spice lasts for a long time - long spicy finish that lasts - this was good and had interesting flavours

Bottle, november 14th 2012. Dark brown body, red tinted, small tanned head. Aroma of cloves, berries, roasted malt. Metal taste, lots of malt, vanilla and juniper. The metal taste is disturbing an elsewhere good beer. Sweet and thick mouthfeel, with a vanilla and juniper finish.

TEJA (1428) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 1, 2013
Bottle from Systembolaget. Vintage 2010, sampled in 2013. High brown head that is semi lasting. Clear dark red color. Spicy aroma from christmas with ginger and carnations and possibly some dried peels from Seville orange. A bit plain in the taste were just the spices come forward and thinn body. Have I aged this too long?

500ml bottle, 2012 edition. Dark bread, gilly flower, dark syrup, clementine, dark chocolate, roasted malt and some spices that made me think of Jägermeister. Well done but I’m having a hard time with the flavor from the spices.

Bottled 500ml. -Reddish/brown coloured, medium sized tan head, light roasty nose. Roasted malt, pleasant notes of spices and hint of caramel with mild herbal presence in the finish. Bit messy but all in all ok brew.

Bottle at ChrisO Holiday Tasting, London - thanks to Ronny. Vintage 2011. Pours clear brown with a fine, beige foam head. Dry brown bread nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with more dry brown bread, light ham, mellow leaves, faint spice. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Light sweet finish with toasty brown bread, some brown sugar, mellow spices. OK. I guess I liked the 2012 better. (3.5)

Bottle at ChrisO tasting, thanks to Ronny, 30/12/12. 2012 vintage - parallel taste with 2011. Notes in book but scored identically. Lightly hazed dark chestnut brown with a thin off white head that escapes to the edge and leaves a thin film. Nose is dark malt, dark fruits, rye, a little smoke. Taste comprises dark malt, brown rye bread, spice, raisens, dark fruits, hint of smoke. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a touch of bitterness in the roasted finish. Decent enough!
