@Nedre Mölla 15/4-14. Flaska från Systembolaget. Inte mycket till arom men det finns toner av malt och karamell. Smak: Maltig, karamellsötma, inte mycket till beska.

500ml brown 2014 years vintage bottle, pours clear dark mahogany with a medium sized frothy tan head that reduced quickly, leaving some lacing. Aroma of caramel, syrup loaf and nuts. Flavours of caramel, toffee, roasted malts, syrup loaf, nuts and spices. Taste is medium sweet and light-medium bitter. Palate is light-medium bodied, oily texture and average carbonation. Pleasant flavours but a little too sweet, and the lack of bitterness makes it dull, but that’s typical of the style.

Bottle at Bruce’s, thanks to Leighton. It pours deep reddish-amber with a medium yellow-white head. The nose is earth, toast, caramel, varnish and light spice. The taste is toast, earth, varnish, faint caramel, wood, leather and decent bitterness. medium body and moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks again to Leighton for another (and never common) Swedish tick. Light haze on this amber beer. Residual pale tan head. Light palate, dry with mild carbonation. Comes over like a bitter. The malt being is slightly papery and has a mild toffee streak. Dried fruits hops and a touch of thin creamy malt.

Bottle at Bruce’s, London. A mild for you all! Pours clear, bright ruby with a tight, creamy tan head. Nose has toffee, some caramel, ripe fruits, sugary bread. Medium sweet flavor, sugary bread, lightly dry caramel, dried fruits, subtle leather, mild leaves and faint earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light bitter leaves to finish, toasty bread, dry toffee. Very nice beer.

(3/2012) Flaska. Kopparljus. Brödig arom med lite karamel, lite jäst. En bit sötsur limpa. Helt ok, men inte speciellt påskigt, mer engelskt.
