3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 duff (5484) - Lund, SWEDEN - APR 18, 2002
Deep brown in colour, with little lasting head. Sugary sherbert aroma, with a hint of brown sugar aswell. Hints of sweetness at the start, with a gingery, spicy hop finish, it was OK, but i guess its not my style of beer.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Hansen (5447) - Assentoft, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2009
Medium amber colour. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is lightly spicy, pepper and yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet. Creamy texture.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 larsga (5325) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 25, 2007
Big offwhite lasting head. Dark red body. Milky tobaccoish aroma. Sweetish fruity malty taste with notes of cinnamon and wild berries. Dry, wild berry aftertaste. Chalky mouthfeel. Quite nice. (0.5l bottle.)
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Svesse (5197) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 30, 2006
(Draught at MacKinlays, Stockholm) Colour is dark brown to deep ruby with a thick beige head. Taste is malty, somewhat roasted, dominated by chocolate. Taste is malty with hints of chocolate, nuts and raisins. Full flavoured and complex, but still smooth and easy to drink. Well balanced and tasty, almost brilliant actually (but not really fantastic).(I wouldn’t really call it a mild ale, but it reminds slightly of stronger British ruby milds, like the one from Sarah Hughes)
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KnutAlbert (5186) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 4, 2007
50 cl bottle, thanks to PC. A nutty beer, with lots of sugar from the malt. There are hops, too, adding a flowery full flavour. Some dryness in the finish. Very drinkable, but I find the style a bit boring.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ThomasE (5176) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 13, 2005
Great looking beer with a beautifull deep red colour and a nice beige head. Malty aroma with a dark fruit sweetness. Flavor is malty with hints of yeast, some fruity sweetness and a short bitter finish.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Hildigöltur (5106) - København, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2005
Reddish brown coloured. Very malty and bready aroma with spicy cookie notes. Cookies and bread in the flavour. Dry, roasty and rather bitter finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jbrus (4992) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - APR 25, 2002
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2003 Light spices in the aroma. Dark brown/red, off-white frothy/creamy head that diminishes fast, no lacing. Light sweet, light hoppy, not very special. The finish is bitter, bit roasted and hoppy. I didn't taste many beers with a finish like this one.
