Dark, almost black colored beer with a very small head. Nose of wood, wine, burned mats and some oxydation. Sweetish taste with some bitterness from the burned malts. Some liqour. Medium bodied.

Pours out a thick dark brown with moderate tan head that fades quickly. Smells malty and chocolaty with a hint of smoke. Taste is roasty, bitter, heavily smoked. Not too enjoyable for me - but I could see how others would like it more. Feel is a touch dry and thin.

En riktigt fin porter. Smak och doft av choklad, kaffe, torkad frukt, läder ohc en aning rök. Syrlig och torr. Välbalanserad och med många fina smaknyanser. Drucken på fat.

Svart-brun öl med stort brunt skum. Doft: Jord, sot, salt lakrits, salmiak, barr. Mycket svaga dofter tyvärr. Smak: Kaffe, barr, trä, kakao, apelsin skal, lakrits.

25cl bottle thanks to omhper. Lovely dark color with thin to medium brownish head. Carbonation is low to medium. Bitterness is also low to medium. Coffee, smoke, light fruit aroma.

Pitch black. No head at all (funny to see how different that is described below). Mouthfull is really smooth, it has a shy restrained bitterness, amodest sweetness, and a well rounded edgeless smoke tag. Nothing to get exited about, and the bottle is too small. 25 cl!! Bah!!

Little creamy Dark head. Pritchard black. Nose with sweet licorice, fruity, chockolate,whip cream. Medium body and length. Taste s chocolate, coffee, red berries, a bit light, but welballanced.

Vanligt vis brukar jag ej gilla så hör mörka öl men detta var lätt en av det bättre. Brukar ofta smaka för mycket kaffe,tjära bränd vedklabbe ;)
Men den här har en fin balanserad smak!

Dark with thick tan brown fram. Chocolate and licorice steams up. Smooth fairly Light taste with a strong long finish

2013 edition, 250ml bottle. Dark brown with a thick brown tainted head. Lacing. 5,9% ABV. Roasted malt, coffee, licorice and soy. Nice bitterness from the hops through the whole experience. Medium body, perhaps a bit too thin for a porter. Good but perhaps a bit young. Might be good to sit on a it for a while.
