Bottle, 4,0% ABV. Pours a dark brown, black with a small, dark latte-colored head. Aroma is roasted malt, liquorice, slight smoke and tar, light sour coffee. Taste is roast, light liquorice, fairly coffee, somewhat watery. Light watery, but well carbonated. Great aroma, but the thin, watery body doesn’t really provide enough backbone.

Black brown colour, beige head. Sweetish aroma, roasted malts, light iron. Sweet malty flavour, caramel. Rather creamy. Finish coffee and malts, milk chocolate. Rather nice!

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2014 500 ml bottle @ Rock More Pub, Viking Grace (4.0% ABV)
Dark cola colored beer, almost black with huge mocha colored head leaving lots of lacing. Aroma has cocoa, milk chocolate and ashy roastiness. Flavor is ashy roasted with citrusy fruity and piney hops. Palate is thin and watery. Finishes with a quite strong bite of bitterness leaving an aftertaste of ashes and chocolate. Kind of a dry stout with American hops, which don’t show up in the aroma but do give flavor and bitterness.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Black with a dense brown head. Aroma roasted malts with coffee, very light tobacco and a smooth milk chocolate background. Taste is mild with some light milk chocolate and a light bitterness up front, some roasted malts mid through and a light smooth bitter finish. A bit watery but being only 4,0% it’s very nice.
