Alc. 4.0%. Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, cold coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [270908]

The aroma is malty, yeasty with a slight sourness. The sourness doesn't become it well. The color is pitch black and it has a fine dense head. The flavor is malty sweet with roasted notes. The sweetness giving a good background , but there's also a sour note that doesn't become it so well - is it only in this batch or is it supposed to taste like a mild? All in all the flavor is good.

50 cL bottle. Pours pitch black with a smal tan head. Mild fruity and light smoked malty aroma. Flavour too is light smoked with a light chocolate and dry note. Bitter and roasted acidic as the main impression. Solid bitter, roasted and acidic finish. Nice one.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours black and opaque with a creamy, beige head. Marked roasted - almost burned - aromas. Fairly light body with burned, malty acents. A whiff of smoke also. Distinct bitter finish from the malts. 240806

Draught (4,4%). Black colour, brown creamy head. Roasted malt and old coffee in aroma and flavour. A bit watery stout, with even some weak fruitish hints.

Dark black with rich very creamy head. Loads of coffe in the aroma. At 3.8% this is the session beer in the brewery’s range. Light bodied for a stout, but soft and slightly roasty.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2006 Cask at Bishops Arms, Malmö. Dark brown coloured with a huge beige head. Roasted aroma of coffee and cocoa powder with notes of mushrooms. Roasted flavour of coffee and chocolate. Light roasted finish. A bit watery.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2009 Cask @ Bishop’s Arms, Malmö. Pours a black colour with a tan head. Roasted malty aroma. Sweet roasted malty flavor with hints of chocolate. Long malty roasted finish.

Dark color; no head. Both aroma and flavor are quite fresh, with notes of roasted malt, much more in the taste; monodimensional yet easy drinkable, good Stout.

Cask, 4.0%. OK liquorice aroma. Black colour, light brown head. The flavour is liquorice, a bit sweet, but nicely balanced. Low carbonation. Quite flavourful for its ABV.
