2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ungstrup (26267) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 4, 2003
The aroma is malty, yeasty with a slight sourness. The sourness doesn't become it well. The color is pitch black and it has a fine dense head. The flavor is malty sweet with roasted notes. The sweetness giving a good background , but there's also a sour note that doesn't become it so well - is it only in this batch or is it supposed to taste like a mild? All in all the flavor is good.
