Aroma is citrus, grass, some mild herbs, liquorice, gingerbread and mild ashy and roasted notes as well. Flavour is more or less the same in a rather nice balance. Rather bittery ashy finish.

2013-02-05, daught at Bishop’s Arms, Stockholm, Vasagatan, 8-5-7-4-16=40 Black color with generous beige creamy head. Nice aroma, hoppy and resiny, with hop cones, then roasted malts. The mouthfeel is smooth but also quite dry; the flavor balances very well mild tones of malt, roasted malts with quality hopping; pleasant hop resins, with some citrusy (orange) character; long final; never ashy nor excessive. Very well brewed.
2013-02-02, draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg, 8-4-7-4-16=39 Black color with beige creamy head. Very nice aroma of green grassy hops, with a citrusy touch. Smooth mouthfeel, soft flavor of roasted malts, some dark chocolate, light pleasant yeast, correct bitterness with a touch of hop resins and some tea. Dry but balanced final. Very nice.

Sweetish nettley aroma, hint of tobacco, treacle and old leather. Weird herbal taste. Nettles definitely in the taste. Stir fry spicy vegetables. But also dry burnt roast. Kind of like an English stout, with added weirdness. Finish dry dry old bitter hops, touch of bitter coffee grounds too.

Draught at The Rover, on April 16, 2012 Black color, dense light brown head. Fresh, hoppy, green, citrus scent. sWeet, fruity, citrus, cream, very well balanced, smooth, hoppy, very nice taste! Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Highly drinkable! Very pleasantly surprised, thought I’d not like it this much, I’lld rink it again! Also very happy to notice the lack of classic Nynäshamns house flavor (phenoles).
