COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2013 Bottle at home. Clear golden amber with a nice steady slight yellowed puffy head that leaves nice lacings. Aroma: Straw, butterscotch, flowers, citrus, grass. Both classy and modern at the same time. Taste: Sweet malty with bread and some buttery toffee, flowers, tropic citrus, straw and grass. Medium to lighter bodied, soft but still slight crispy carbonation, soft texture. Very nice modern lager that still manages to feel classy and rounded. Very balanced. 5/14/2011 3:27:21 PM Tap at Akkurat. Clear golden yellow with a short off white head leaving some traces of lace. Aroma is resiny and perfumy flowery with zesty citrus. And faint soft biscuity malts. Taste is citrusy and perfumy piney hoppy with light light maltiness with notes of toast, cookie and straw. Caramel and resin in the aftertaste. Medium to light body with small swhirly bubbles. Crisp and refreshing but maybe the hype overtook it.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours clear gold, highly effervescent with a large, fluffy white head. Lightly toasted malts on the nose with some dry pine and grapefruit. Medium sweet flavor with great dried grapefruit character, some dry grass, pine, light toasty sugars. Medium in body with average, smooth carbonation. Crisp finish with some toasted grains, more dry pine, light grass, light toasted sugar. Beautiful beer.

Can you make a lager any better than this? I don’t think so. Really well made beer.

Tjockhult Tjinook. on tap at akkurat... Pours a crystal clear medium cider pour with a fluffy pure white head which lingers in for a fair bit... Nice assertive grassy bitter hop nose. Clean without much of the standard grainy blah lager presence. Really nice actually providing a light fruit and tea-like earthy aspect... Flavors follow suit almost to a tee and not worth rehashing except for the fact that the amped hoppy nature is well welcoming. Mostly provides an earthy grassy bitterness which lingers on the palate for a moment before finally dispersing. Nce and clean, medium bodied. Nice, easy drinking. 8/4/8/4/15

On tap at Akkurat, Stockholm on 20th June 2012. Light amber with foamy white head and full lacing. Hoppy and slightly smoky aroma with cheesy notes. Herby, grassy hops abound in-mouth and savoury notes present. Hoppy finish and quite smooth, agreeable mouthfeel. Easy drinking.
